Privacy Policy

Effective 22 August 2026. Applies to Together: Days in Love version 1.0.0 on iOS and Android.

Together is a day counter that runs on your device. There is no account, no server that holds your content, and no advertising. This policy explains, in plain terms, the very small amount of data that does leave your phone.

1. Who is responsible

Together: Days in Love is made and published by Ben Basha, an independent developer based in Israel, who is the data controller for the analytics described below. You can reach us at any time at together@benbasha.com.

2. What stays on your device

The following is stored locally on your phone, in the app's own storage. It is never uploaded, never backed up to us, and we have no technical means of reading it:

• Counter titles and the dates you enter
• Photos you choose as counter or widget backgrounds, which are copied into the app's own storage
• Milestone and reminder schedules, which the operating system holds locally
• Your theme, accent, language and notification settings
• Widget snapshots, which stay in the app group on your device
• Your Premium entitlement flag

Because none of this reaches us, deleting the app deletes it. See section 8.

3. What leaves your device

One destination, and only one: Mixpanel, a product analytics service we use to understand how the app is used. Mixpanel processes this data on our behalf, on servers in the United States.

Events

The app sends anonymous events describing what happened, never what you wrote. Examples: the app was opened, onboarding was finished, a counter was created or edited, a widget guide was viewed, a milestone screen was opened, a share card was exported, the paywall was shown, a purchase completed, a review prompt was shown, a setting was changed.

Event names and screen names only. Counter titles, dates, photos and any other content you enter are never attached to an event.

Properties sent with every event

• Whether this device has Premium, as a yes or no
• The app version
• The platform, iOS or Android
• Standard device context collected by the analytics SDK, such as operating system version, device model, and coarse region derived from the network connection

Identifier

Events are grouped by Mixpanel's default device-scoped identifier. On iOS it is derived from the Identifier for Vendor, which Apple resets when you delete every app from us. On Android it is a random value generated on first launch. It is not your name, email or phone number, because the app never asks for any of those. The advertising identifier is never used, and the AD_ID permission is explicitly blocked in the Android build.

4. What we do not collect

• No name, email address, phone number or postal address. The app has no accounts and no sign-in.
• No contacts, calendar, microphone or location data.
• No advertising identifier and no advertising SDK. Together shows no ads.
• No crash or performance diagnostics. Version 1.0.0 ships no crash reporting SDK. If that changes we will update this policy and the store privacy labels before shipping it.
• No health, financial or biometric data. Face ID and Touch ID are handled entirely by the operating system, which answers only "authenticated" or "not authenticated". No biometric data is ever readable by the app.

5. No tracking, and no tracking prompt

Together never asks for permission to track you, because it never tracks you. There is no cross-app or cross-site tracking of any kind. Mixpanel is used strictly as first-party analytics, no advertising identifier is read, and no identifier is shared with data brokers, advertisers, or any other app.

Version 1.0.0 does not include Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework at all, so you will never see that permission dialog from this app. The App Store privacy label for Together records Tracking as No, and that is the whole story.

6. Third parties

There are no other third parties. Together has no backend of its own, no advertising network, no attribution SDK and no social login. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we never have.

7. Why we may process this data, and for how long

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for analytics is legitimate interest, specifically understanding which parts of a small paid app are used so it can be improved. The data is pseudonymous and cannot be traced back to you by us. Analytics records are retained by Mixpanel under our project's retention settings and are deleted when they age out or when we delete the project.

Content on your device is kept until you delete it or delete the app. We have no role in that, because we never receive it.

8. Deleting your data

• Everything you created is removed when you delete the app from your device. Because it lives only there, that deletion is complete and irreversible. Nothing is recoverable by us, so keep your own copy of anything you would hate to lose.
• Analytics stop the moment the app is deleted. To request deletion of the analytics events already recorded for your device, email together@benbasha.com. Because the data is not linked to your identity, tell us the platform and roughly when you used the app so we can locate the right records, and we will delete everything we can identify as yours.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In California you may also have the right to know what is collected and to opt out of sale or sharing. Together does not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we do not discriminate against anyone who exercises a right.

10. Children

Together is a general-audience app for adults in relationships. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the app and you would like the associated analytics removed, email us and we will delete them.

11. Security

Data on your device is protected by the operating system's own storage protection and, if you enable it, by Face ID or Touch ID inside the app. Analytics are sent over HTTPS. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but because we hold none of your content, the worst-case exposure is a list of anonymous screen names.

12. International transfers

Mixpanel processes our project's data in the United States. If you use the app in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with transfer restrictions, that transfer relies on Mixpanel's standard contractual clauses with us as its customer.

13. Store privacy labels

For reference, this is exactly what is declared to Apple and Google, and it matches the sections above.

14. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this page changes first, with a new effective date at the top, and the store privacy labels are updated in the same release. The current version always lives at together.benbasha.com/privacy.
